Salman Khan left for Maldives on July 23 to take part in the annual India-Maldives friendship festival 2010. He inaugurated the Medical Assistance Programme at the Children’s House in Villimale and donated blood at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
Expressing his pleasure to be part of the philanthropic efforts, Salman said, “My number is in [Indian] High Commission. Call me to participate in these kinds of events. This is only a matter of a two-hour flight.”
He later judged a children's painting exhibition at the Iskandhar School. He selected the best paintings and discussed painting with the kids. He even sang a few songs and danced with them
